Shugen’s Terms and Conditions:
1. Purchasing our products:
To purchase our products, choose the colour and size on the website and fill in the order form or write to us directly at email@example.com. NB! Make sure to check the measurements.
Our prices are listed in euros (EUR). During campaigns, both the new price and the old price (crossed out) will be displayed on the product page.
Shugen uses any personal information solely to fulfil the order and shall not share the contact information with any third parties, except as otherwise provided by law.
Shugen is a reseller of the products of AS Samelin. Therefore, Shugen reserves the right of withdrawal from the sale in case the product has been sold via other channels at the same time and if an adequate alternative is not available. In this case, the buyer shall be notified immediately by phone or by e-mail and the purchase price shall be refunded to the buyer’s bank account within 1-3 working days.
Payment is based on the invoice that is sent to the Client after the order is received.
Please note the number of the order in the transaction details.
The payment deadline is 3 days. If the payment is not received, the order shall be cancelled.
The order is shipped 1-3 workdays after the payment has been received.
The Client will be notified of the shipping by e-mail. On average, the shipping time is 2-5 days within Estonia. You will be notified of any unforeseen delays with the order fulfilment.
Shugen shall not be held responsible for the errors of the postal service provider (e.g. if the delivery is delayed due to reasons outside Shugen’s control, if the parcel has been lost by the provider, etc).
Shugen fulfils its orders within Estonia via the following postal services:
Itella Smartpost (parcel terminal).
Omniva (parcel terminal).
Omniva parcel delivery to the home address or the nearest post office.
Omniva courier service – delivery home or to the office.
Shugen will be more than happy to send parcels abroad. The postage depends on the location (see https://www.omniva.ee/private/parcel/e_service) and shall be invoiced to the Client.
Orders that are deliverable to addresses outside of the European Economic Area may incur additional customs fees. The Client shall be responsible for paying any such fees to the relevant state. Such fees will not be compensated by Shugen.
Orders can also be picked up in person at Mähe, Tallinn, Estonia.
If the Client orders multiple pairs of shoes and wishes to have them delivered to multiple addresses, this information should be noted down in the order and the postage shall be paid accordingly.
No postage is charged if the Client picks up the shoes in person.
4. Warranty and returns:
The warranty does not cover products whose faults are due to incorrect use of the product or normal wear and tear.
Upon finding a defect, the Client undertakes to inform Shugen of the issue by e-mail and to include the following information: name and contact details; nature of the problem (description of the defect; photos, if possible; whether the defect was present upon delivery of the product or occurred during use). Shugen shall reply in writing within 7 days of the receipt of the complaint and offer a solution.
If the defect is of a technical nature, the Client has a right to request repairs or replacement.
If a defective product is replaced, Shugen reserves the right to request the return of the defective item before shipping the replacement.
Shugen shall assume the expenses related to the repairs or replacement, if the defect was due to an error by the producer. If the defect was caused by incorrect use by the Client or by an accident, the Client and Shugen shall reach an agreement regarding the expenses related to the repair or replacement of the product before the start of the repair or replacement related work.
The Client shall be entitled to a refund only if the repair or replacement of the product proves impossible or does not succeed.
If your order reaches you in a defective condition, please inform us immediately by writing at firstname.lastname@example.org – we’ll be glad to discuss returns and compensation (whether you wish a replacement or a refund).
Should a product delivered by post not fit, you have the right to return it to us within 14 days. The product needs to be in its original packaging and must not have been used. The refund for a returned item shall be transferred to the Client’s bank account within 7 working days after the returned item has been received by Shugen. The postage for returns shall not be refunded!
The right of return applies solely to products bought via the e-shop and delivered by post. Products that the Client has been able to see and try on before the purchase cannot be returned or refunded.
5. Additional clauses:
By submitting an order via Shugen’s e-store and making a payment, the Client confirms having read the terms and conditions of sale and agreeing to them.
Shugen reserves the right to modify prices. If the Client submitted an order before a change in prices, the transaction is subject to the price applicable at the moment the order was made.
Shugen reserves the right to modify the present terms and conditions as well as the price list in the course of developing the e-store.
